City Line Auto in Providence - Thinking of You
Not a day goes by when I don’t think of Ronnie looking in my eyes and telling me the car he was selling me was safe and reliable. Every time I think of the trips I didn’t take to see my dying mother because I didn’t have reliable transportation, and couldn’t afford to buy it because City line Auto in Providence sold me a car that couldn’t pass inspection. I think about City Line Auto when I get in the car with my kids. I hat to do it, but have little choice. I pray it won’t break down and if it does we won’t get hurt. All becuase I took the word of the man at city Line Auto who looked me in the face and lied through his teeth. He knew it would take more than $2000 to put the car in shape, but told me it would take $250. So if you are in the market to buy a used car, and you don’t mind a liar, go to City line Auto in Providence. He just might lie to you too.

City Line Auto in Providence | | The saga of the car I bought from City Line Auto in Providence continues. To recap: I looked Ronnie in the eye and asked him if the car I was about to buy from him was safe enough to get my kids around town and to get me back and forth to see my mom in CT, who is dying of cancer. It is a pretty straightforward question and I think you have to be a pretty slimy person to look someone in the eye and lie when asked it. I’m a pretty trusting person and when Ronnie looked me in the eye, I believed him. Silly me. Ronnie at City Line Auto in Providence looked me in the eye and lied. He said it would cost about $250 to fix the minor problems. The next two mechanics I took it to suggested he left off a zero. Actually, the quotes were closer to $2850. And that was just to pass inspection. Basic safety. Brakes, shocks, struts, steering, you name it. So if you need a car, and you are smart enough to Google the guy you’re going to buy it from, then you already know that City Line Auto lied to me to sell a car. I’ve no doubt he will do the same for you.

Cityline Auto or City Line Auto, either way he lied | | Well, here I thought I was doing such a great job of getting the word out that Ronnie over at City Line Auto lied through his teeth in order to sell me a car. For just a few hundred dollars, he looked me in the eye, knowing that the car he was about to sell me needed so much work it could not even pass a safety inspection and told me that for $250 I could fix all its problems. I looked him the eye, asked if it was safe enough to get my kids around town and to get me to my Mom’s in Connecticut, because she had cancer and I needed to visit often. He looked me in the eye and said yes. So I bought the car form City Line Auto. WIthin a couple fo weeks I already put $750 in to keep it running and learned it needed another $2850 to make it safe. If you want a safe car, find another place to buy. If you want an honest car dealer, City Line Auto is not your place in prividence tot buy a used car.

Cityline-Lied is about City Line Auto | | Well, well. The war has begun. I called my friend Ronnie at City Line Auto in Providence and let him know that he might want to Google his business name. I don’t know if he did or not. Probably too busy screwing other customers to take the time to see that he might be losing business, that possibly he might sell a few less used cars and that his market shar of the used car market in Providence is about to go down. The car hasn’t died again, but I’m not about to invest 10 times as much to make it safe than what the man told me it would take to put it into decent shape. I mean, buying and selling used cars in Providence, or anywhere, is not rocket science. If you are not a total jerk, you tell your customers about the car and if it fits their needs, they buy it. No need ot lie. No need to cheat. No need to steal. And if you are buying a used car in providence, or anywhere, then all you have to do is have the car checked out. Don’t take the work of the guy who tells you it is a good car. Don’t believe Ronnie or anyone else who tells you that for $250 the car would be in great shape. Go have it checked out. And if he lied to you, like Ronnie at City Line Auto in Providence did with me, then you will know.

Cityline Lied Makes it to #1 on Google | | If you are thinking about buying a car from Cityline Auto in Providence and are checking them out online, the first result you will find on Google is this website. Not bad for 4 weeks. That’s how long ago I decided to put this site up and warn people about Cityline Auto in Providence and tell them how Ronnie, the owner looked me in teh face and lied through his teeth. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not a vengeful person. I did not want to take the time or energy to do this. I even called Cityline Auto when it became clear to me that I was lied to. I offered to sell back the car he sold me for $1000 for just $500. I knew I had made a mistake by taking his word. I wanted to take responsibility. And at the time, i would have been happy to have the $500. No longer. I’ve now spent $800 to keep the car running and am toild that to make it safe will cost me another $2850. That is a serious chunk of change. I haven’t decided yet what to do. But if putting up this site saves even one person from being lied to and keeps them from buying a car from Cityline Auto in Providence, then I suppose it is worth it. If anyone wants to buy this site from me, you can maintain it yourself or take it down. I’d be happy to sell the domain for just $2850.

Careful When Buying a Used Car, Especially from Cityline Auto | | The car seemed ok. Of course I don’t much about cars. So I asked the guy who should know about cars. After all, he’s in the business. I asked the woner of Cityline Auto in Providence how much it would cost to fix the car. He said about $250 would put it into decent shape. He got quotes, so he said. So I bought the car for $1,000. And took it to a couple of mechanics. The cheapest quote was $2500 just to put it in safe running condition. That’s jsut 10 times what he told me it would cost to fix the little things. Now, has I not asked him if the car was safe enough for me to drive my kids around town and to get me back and forth to Connecticut to see my dying mom, I’d say maybe he made a mistake. But somehow, I think this wasn’t a mistake. So if you don’t mind buying from a liar, buy your next used car fom Cityline Auto in Providence.
