There are so many places in Providence to buy a used car. If you are in teh market to buy a used car, you probably have seen the Auto Trader or looked on Craigslist. I looked on Craigslist. Called the number and talked to a guy about a car. Turns out it was Ronnie at Cityline Auto. He seemd like a good guy. Until he lied to sell me a car. So if you are in the market to buy a used car, make sure you check out the car very well. And check out the used car dealer too. Because if you are thinking of buying a used car from Cityline Auto in Providence, it could cost you thousands of dollars more than you planned.
It?s hard to watch news clips of depositors lined up outside IndyMac Bank branches in California without recalling similar scenes from Depression-era documentaries or the fictionalized bank run in ?It?s a Wonderful Life.?
But there?s one big difference between then and now, besides the fact than yesterday?s bank failures are remembered in black-and-white, while today?s are broadcast in living color. That is, we now have federal deposit insurance to protect our savings, up to certain limits, in the event of messes like this.
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, which has taken over the operation of IndyMac, issued this statement on July 13 in attempt to allay depositor fears and describe once again how FDIC coverage works.
Our Money blog explained both FDIC coverage and other types of investor protections in this recent roundup.
What, if anything, should bank depositors be doing at this point? We?d suggest checking to make sure your accounts are within the FDIC insurance limits and, if not, moving the excess to another bank, just to play it safe. You may also be able to restructure your accounts within your current bank to assure you?re covered. Other than that, we see no cause for action or for alarm.

Here’s something I didn’t realise. The UK’s Institute of Advanced Motorists Limited is advocating reverse parking. The following are the benefits of reverse parking rather than entering your parking bay head-first:
Data shows it takes about 90 seconds for an average 5-year old car’s engine to warm up and reach its thermal efficiency. According to IAM, reversing out of a parking bay while the engine is cold takes up between 20-25 times more fuel than when it is warm. Apparently driving away forwards will help you save fuel. Could be related to the usually lower gear ratio of the reverse gear compared to the first gear.
The UK’s Highway Code actually encourages reverse parking. This is because reversing into a parking bay which remains static (just an empty piece of road/cement, nothing will suddenly fill it up) is safer than reversing out into a road/lane which may have constant traffic where you cannot see easily. Driving out forwards into the road makes it easier for you to look out for incoming traffic.
Reversing close to a wall may make it more difficult for thieves to break into your boot as there will not be enough space for them to work.
With the amount of crime these days, it is easier to get out of the parking bay as fast as possible driving forward as it is easier for you to see where you are going in case you have to leave as fast as you can for security reasons.

fgets only returns 3 characters doesn't seem to be specific to any file; I tried it with an ordered list and once with "blah" in a file by itself. I got a count of 3 characters each time (after noticing only 3 characters and changing the output to their number instead). I'm sure it's something uber-simple and so would appreciate help all the more. EDIT: I get a segfault when trying to output the string- or array-length of string in readLine... EDIT2: OK, I figured out that my array's length isn't accessible to me af
Alphabetizing Names being asked to do things I haven't done in 2 years, so naturally, I'm rusty. Basically I need to alphabetize 5 names, Susan, Ralph, Marie, Bob, and George. What I want to do is store is name in a string, and compare the first letter in each name, and then print them in that order. This is what I have so far: Code: #include int main (void) { char name1[15]; char name2[15]; char name3[15]; char name4[15]; char name5[15]; printf("Enter name 1"); scanf("%14s",name
So they?re going to rewrite gcc in C++, eh? Came across this: Converting gcc to C++ and by a little googling, came across Ian Lance Taylor?s blog. Ian Lance Taylor is a pretty big name in the open source world. I think I may have exchanged a few emails with him 7 or 8 years ago related to some patches to CVS that I was working on ? not that that?s relevant to anything. I also know I?ve seen his name on many a man page, listed as author. Given my own antipathy towards C++, you might think I would be worried about a move from C to C++ fo

What this section of the program does is retrieve a string sent over a pipe, part of that string is saved into a structure so It can be used later to open a file. I tryed to take out anything that wasn't important to the problem. whats happening is in the for loop to copy the string to the structure the /'s get taken with the

Good signs of success for Canada in soccer draw This is not the same Canada men?s soccer team I?m used to watching. This is not the same program that?s so commonly associated with losing and disappointing. This is not the same squad that is always quickly written off by its opponents. No, this is a much different team, a much better one. Finally, after many years of failure and shame, Canada is showing the world that it can compete in a higher level of soccer. Take Wednesday?s game for example, one against Jamaica - a world-cup qualifying
